THE MISSION’S FAIR CONTENT COMMITMENT
At The Mission, we are committed to providing our readers with fair and accurate information about the places, items, and concepts we love. Your trust is paramount to us.
Our content is purely editorial, crafted by The Mission editors who feature places, items, and concepts we genuinely believe are worthy of your time, energy, and money. Importantly, no one can pay to be included in our editorial content.
Occasionally, we may receive a preferential editorial rate or a complimentary experience as part of our review process. However, this does not influence our coverage decisions; we only include content that meets our standards and is The Mission approved. We will never suggest or recommend sub-par experiences.
We also use selective affiliate links, which means The Mission may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links. The price you pay remains the same, whether you click through from The Mission or go directly to the vendor’s website. We only use affiliate links for items we love and would include regardless.
By maintaining these practices, we aim to uphold the highest standards of editorial integrity and transparency.
THE MISSION PRODUCT COLLABORATIONS AND SPONSORSHIP
At The Mission, collaborating with designers, labels, and brands we love is integral to our identity. We curate exclusive products that resonate with our audience through these partnerships. It's important to note that while we receive a portion of sales from items sold on The Mission, these collaborations are initiated solely based on our genuine interest in working with these entities; no one can pay to collaborate with us.
Occasionally, The Mission partners with brands to present unique sponsored content, for which we receive compensation. We are committed to transparency and will always inform you when content is sponsored. Only brands we trust and believe in are selected to sponsor our editorials, and all content is authentically crafted by The Mission editors—sponsors do not write our editorial content. Any paid or sponsored links embedded within our content will be clearly identified as such, ensuring full disclosure.
By maintaining these practices, we aim to uphold the highest standards of editorial integrity and transparency.
AD CONTRACT AND COPY REGULATION
The Mission reserves the right to edit, reject, cancel, or clarify any advertisement and is not responsible for omissions or errors made by advertisers. Our liability is limited to the cost of the advertisement itself. We disclaim all liability to advertisers, readers, viewers, and users for any loss or damage resulting from inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in advertising content, regardless of the cause.

Any judgment rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court with proper jurisdiction.
ADVERTISING RELEASE TERMS FOR COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS
The reproduction of third-party works protected by copyright constitutes copyright infringement unless a valid license has been obtained or a recognized exception applies. Similarly, the use of another party’s trademark in a manner likely to cause confusion, mistake, or deception regarding the source of goods or services constitutes trademark infringement.

Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that The Mission’s digital publishing or reproduction of the material does not infringe upon any copyright or contribute to trademark infringement. Before The Mission proceeds with publishing or copying the material, you must confirm your compliance with The Mission’s terms and conditions and that you have the legal right to authorize The Mission to do so.
By agreeing to the Terms at check out, you, the AD Buyer, declare under penalty of perjury that:
1/ You are at least 18 years of age.
2/ Your intended use of the materials will not mislead or confuse the public.
3/ At least one of the following is true:
(A) You own the copyright in the material.
(B) You have been authorized as an agent of the copyright owner to digitally publish or copy the material.
(C) The material is in the public domain.
Indemnification
You acknowledge that The Mission is relying on your representations in agreeing to digitally publish or copy the material. Accordingly, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold The Mission harmless from any claim, demand, lawsuit, or liability arising from a breach of this warranty or any other legal basis related to the publication or copying of the material, including, but not limited to, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition.
If any legal action arises, you agree to:
~ Pay any judgment or reasonable settlement offer related to the claim.
~ Cover The Mission’s legal costs and fees (including attorneys' fees) incurred in connection with any such claims or in enforcing this indemnification.
The Mission reserves the right to provide a copy of the AD Buy Order to any party alleging that the publication or reproduction of the material infringes their rights.
